Hi guys!
Erica back on the PFS Blog today with another card, using the I Work For Watercolor stamp and coordinating diecut set. As this fun stamp set is all about water colouring, there was no other option but to use water colours to colour it! It would be crazy not to, right?
I have used almost all the images in this wonderful set, and even remembered to make a video! If you are more into videos, hop on over to my YouTube channel and have a look HERE.
When it comes to water colouring, I adore heat embossing my images first. I did just that for the pan in the set. I was about to do it with all the little bits and bobs too, when I thought better of it. As much as I love the look, it doesn’t work very well with the fine details that were on some of the images I wanted to use. Luckily the Black Hybrid ink is water proof and work with water colours too. The colours I have used for this card are from Arteza. This is a 36 half pan tin, at a very reasonable price. If you are looking for good quality watercolours that won’t break the bank, these are a pretty good option.
Once all the colouring was dry, I used the coordinating diecuts to cut out all the pieces. With a little bit of liquid glue to stick them to the card, after some puzzling and faffing, it was all done!
Thank you so much for stopping by today. I hope you are enjoying this release as much as I am. If, for some strange and horrid reason, I was only allowed to keep one stamp set from this release, I’d pick the I Work For Watercolor set. For sure!
Lots of love and happy crafting from Erica
