FaLaLaLaaa Foiling with Erica

Hi everyone!

It’s Erica back on the PFS Blog, with a sweet little Christmas themed card. I have used the Winter Clothes Collage stamp and the FaLaLaLaLaaa foiled impression die.

To start with, I heat embossed the Winter Clothes Collage stamp on water colour paper. Of course I used an anti-static tool on it first. The  embossing powder is Opaque White from WOW! Embossing.

I coloured in all the images with Arteza TwiMarkers. These are water based so they work like Zig markers. As I wanted a pastel look, I dabbed a little of the colour on my work mat and then picked that up with a water colour brush.

Because I’m a weirdo who don’t like covering up my colouring, I decided to keep the sentiment simple. The FaLaLaLaLaaa foil impression die was just the thing! I used silver foil to keep the wintery, snow theme going.

The foil is a bit difficult to photograph but here is another angle to show off the shine.

I trimmed the panel down a little and adhered it to a card base, made out of Kraft card stock. I felt this framed the panel nicely as well as coordinated well with the sentiment strip.

There was not much else to this card but on the upside, this would be a simple design to use for mass-producing your Christmas cards. By changing up colours or even mediums, you can still make each card individual and unique.

That’s it from me for today, thank you for stopping by the blog and spending this time with me. I hope this has given you some inspiration as Christmas is getting closer at breakneck speed!

Lots of love and happy crafting from Erica
